Down There Hair Care

What you will need:
Creme bleach for sensitve facial skin
Hairdresser's hair dye application brush
Temporary hair colour (red, pink and blue are my faves)
Vaseline
Dark towels
Soap & water

If you are anything darker than blonde you will need to bleach it first. As with any skin preparation you need to do a patch test 24 hours before. If you have no adverse reaction from either the bleach or the dye then you can go ahead.

After you have washed and dried the area using soap and water, using a creme bleach for facial hair and sensitive skin, follow the manufacturer's instructions and apply it generously. You might need to leave it on for up to an hour, but you must always follow the instructions on the packet. If it doesn't go sufficiently light within the maximum time, rinse it off and reapply a new lot. Do not sit there in agony if it does start to burn/itch/etc. - get it rinsed off in tepid/lukewarm (not hot) water.

Once you have rinsed off the bleach and you are left with your platinum pubes, coat the surrounding skin you don't want to be dyed with vaseline.

Of course, you don't have to dye them any further - I adore having platinum pubes with my dark brown hair (this is my style at the moment). Its like a bottle blonde in reverse. If you do opt for this then you will need to do your roots every 10 days or so, and condition the hair as you would with the hair on your head otherwise it gets horrible and crispy - not a good look (or feel). Also, keep the fake tan off as it will be absorbed by the bleached hair.

If you are dyeing the hair, I prefer to leave a day between bleaching and dyeing, to minimise the risk of irritation.

Using a hairdresser's hair dye applicator brush, apply the dye with a dabbing motion, ensuring all the hair is evenly and generously covered. Try not to get any dye on the skin not being dyed and if it does, wipe if off straight away. It might bring the girls out in thrush or affect the more sensitive areas. Leave that on for a good 20 minutes (but not if more than stated on the bottle). Do it again the next day if you need to reapply to minimise chances of irritation.

When you get your roots through you will have to start from the absolute beginning every 2 weeks.

Or you could just wax the whole lot off and stick on one of Kimbal's body jellies....
