Tracey Simmonds from Surrey is this year's winner of Miss Pole Dance UK 2006.

The standard at this year's UK final of Miss Pole Dance UK was higher than ever seen before. Each participant demonstrated an extremely high level of skill and technique.

The top prize presented by Pole Passion and Body Science Sports Nutrition, was awarded to Tracey for her choreography and performance of 'Dirty Dancing'. The piece was inspired by the famous 80's film, and used original music from the soundtrack. The combination of dance choreography and show stopping pole tricks secured her place at number one.

Having studied different styles of dance from an early age Tracey embarked upon her career in pole dance at the beginning of last year in both dancing and teaching. More recently Tracey has teamed up with Raquel Roberts, owner of Pole Addicts, a London based pole dancing school and networking club. Together they have formed a pole dancing duet. Their exciting and original choreography incorporates spectacular pole tricks in synchronized performance together on the pole. Already the duet have performed at a number of London club nights, and for corporate events.
